Emergency Brake Lever Adjustment

If the mechanism is free, final adjustment is done by:

  • Disconnect the cable/linkage  from each  caliper pull-arm.

Then, on each caliper:

  • Remove the cotter pin (1261).
  • Use a screwdriver to tighten the adjusting pin (1260) all the way in, then back off one turn.
  • Replace the cotter pin.
