Using a Starter Button

Installation

Remove the red wire (1(R) from the ST terminal of the ignition switch and connect it to one terminal of the starter button.

Add a jumper fromt the other starter-button terminal to one of the ignition switch's terminals:

1. To the IGN terminal.  The starter will work only when the switch is in the ON position.
2. To the ACC terminal.  The starter will work when the switch is in the ACCESSORY or ON postition.  (The engine will crank but not start with the switch in the ACCESSORY position.)
3. To the BAT terminal.  The starter will work all the time. (even when the key is not in the ignition!)
