This unusual FIA is powered by a 32V 4.6L Mustang engine.  It was quite a project to fit this physically large engine (much bigger than an FE) into the FIA.  On the other hand, it looks gorgeous with the bolt-on American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels!

Accel wiring installation

The owner wished to keep all the basic electronic engine control systems, but it was necessary to upgrade to an Accel fuel injection system and wiring harness.  The modular engine required a bunch of other modifications to make it fit into the chassis, including removing the oil/water intercooler.

The inner fender panels required some serious modifications too.  This engine is almost as wide as a 427 SOHC!
