| "(Roy's) ittsy bittsy 289 (#83) has to slug it out with all the big block
factory cars.....#75 is Brian Appleby and an aluminum drysump 427....the
others are Shelby Challenge cars that weigh about 2100 lbs. All were running
slicks, except for me. Finished 2nd out of 21 cars in the Vintage Race...#
11 got by....the yellow car crashed when the white one spun if front of him.
One Shelby GT-350 crashed and totaled.
No other "kits" made the show......guess they were scared." Roy |
