CHOOSING TIRES...

is always an interesting challenge.  There are many choices that fit the 15" x 6" wire wheels that we supply.  Do NOT exceed the indicated section width unless you are using an exhaust that exits in front of the rear tire.  Even so, 225 is the maximum recommended width for a 6" wide rim, and is not a good fit.

Recommended tire sizes (same size front and rear)

• 205/70-15" (26.4" OD) 
• 215/65-15" (26.0" OD)

Speed Ratings

In the USA, since you will never exceed the legal speed limit, speed ratings shouldn't be a primary factor in tire choice.  But, it's nice to have a little safety factor anyway.

• S = 112 MPH, 180km/h
• T = 118 MPH, 190km/h
• U = 124 MPH, 200km/h
• H = 130 MPH, 210km/h
• V = 149 MPH, 240km/h
• Z = 149 MPH, 240km/h and over
• W = 168 MPH, 270km/h
• Y = 186 MPH, 300km/h
